Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sahlix platform, mobile applications, and related services (the "Services") provided by Sahlix FZ-LLC, a company registered in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates ("Sahlix", "we", "us").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and operate a beauty business legally registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, or another jurisdiction where Sahlix is available. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about your business during registration.

3. Account & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@sahlix.io. We may suspend access where we have reasonable grounds to suspect a security breach.

4. Subscription & billing

  • Plans: The Services are offered under monthly or annual subscription plans described on our pricing page.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Taxes: All prices are exclusive of applicable VAT and other taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.
  • Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
  • Free trial: A 14-day free trial is offered to new accounts. If no plan is selected before the trial ends, the account is suspended.

5. License & acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your business operations.

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services.
  • Use the Services to send spam or content that violates applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without our written consent.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malicious code.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services or attempt to bypass security measures.

6. Customer data & data processing

You retain all rights to data you upload to the Services ("Customer Data"). You grant Sahlix a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services.

Where Customer Data includes personal data, Sahlix acts as a Data Processor on your behalf. The terms of our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available on request at privacy@sahlix.io, are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Service availability

We target an uptime of 99.9% per calendar month, measured excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Where uptime falls below this target for two consecutive months, customers on Growth and Enterprise plans are entitled to service credits in accordance with our SLA, available on request.

8. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all software, designs, trademarks, and documentation, are and remain the exclusive property of Sahlix and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

9. Termination

You may terminate your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms with at least 14 days' written notice, or immediately for serious violations including fraud, illegal use, or non-payment.

On termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After this period, we may delete Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sahlix's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Sahlix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, goodwill, or data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be the DIFC, Dubai, and the language shall be English.

Mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
